During my recent stay, I was particularly impressed by how close we were to Bath Abbey and the stunning Pulteney Bridge, making our weekend strolls so enjoyable and filled with history. The breakfast was incredible and perfectly prepared by the friendly host who went above and beyond to cater to our needs.

The decor of the Double Room Extra Bed was charming and the cleanliness was impeccable. Freshly cooked breakfast, featuring delightful home-made cake, was a highlight, allowing guests to share enjoyable conversations at the communal table. The host's attentiveness added to the warmth of the stay, and having private parking was a significant convenience.

The stay was lovely overall. Katherine was a friendly and welcoming host, providing ideas for exploring the city. The breakfast options were superb, and the lemon drizzle cake was a delightful touch. steep stairs might be challenging for those with mobility issues.

I had a lovely time here as a solo traveler! Katharine was super helpful when I forgot my adapter. she found one left by another guest. Breakfast was delish, especially the nicely presented pastries. The only thing was the room felt a bit small for my liking, but otherwise, it was cozy.

We had a fantastic stay with our group of friends! We explored the Roman Baths and dined at a cozy pub nearby. The breakfast each morning was delicious and gave us the energy for our adventures. Highly recommend this spot for a fun getaway!

Our only issue was that the Wi-Fi connection was a bit unstable at times, which made it hard for us to share pictures while away.

had a fab stay at abbey rise. katherine is super friendly and makes the best brekkie. loved the cozy and clean room. Nice touches like homemade snacks. it's just a short walk to the city which was perfect after a long day exploring. really felt at home here!

only downside was the steep stairs which could be tough for some. also, the shortbread ran out too quick!

We had a fabulous 2-night stay in the King Room, where Katherine greeted us warmly and ensured we felt at home throughout. The breakfast featured delicious options, and the home-baked goodies in the evening were a delightful touch. The location was convenient for exploring the city, making our trip even more enjoyable. One minor issue was the steep stairs, which could be a challenge for some guests.

The king room featured a generous size and comfortable furnishings, making for a pleasing environment during our stay. Proximity to the city allowed easy exploration, maximizing our time enjoying local attractions.

The small double room we had at the back felt a bit cramped for two people, particularly with limited space to move around. I noticed some traffic noise on the front side during the day, though it didn't disturb our sleep. Accessing the parking lot proved tricky, so be cautious to avoid scraping those unforgiving stone walls.

Katherine’s baking, especially the lemon drizzle cake, was a delightful surprise. The cozy, homey atmosphere made our family feel welcomed and at ease during our stay.
